Parks & Recreation

The Parks and Recreation Department offers our community many recreational activities, classes, community events, pavilion rentals, sports leagues and fitness programs.

Beginning on Monday, May 11th, Parks and Recreation will begin improvements to the lightning alert system. During this upgrade, the lightning alert systems at Sabal Pines Park and Winston Park and Nature Trail will temporarily be out of service.

Park staff will continue actively monitoring weather conditions and will utilize alerts from the Recreation Complex to communicate any hazardous weather conditions to park patrons. We anticipate the system upgrade will be completed and operational within 24 hours.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Sabal Pines Park Administrative Office at 954-545-6600 or the Sabal Pines Park Ranger at 954-448-6288. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to improve park safety services.

The City offers our residents 18 parks, 9 greenways, 4 football/soccer fields, 11 baseball/softball fields, multipurpose fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, racquetball courts, outdoor fitness equipment, pickleball courts, splash pads, 1 dog park, 2 fitness centers (Creek Fit), and 2 recreation centers.
