The Parks and Recreation Department offers our community many recreational activities, classes, community events, pavilion rentals, sports leagues and fitness programs.
Coconut Creek is a great place to get outside and stay active! Our residents enjoy access to 18 parks, 9 greenways, and a wide variety of amenities including football/soccer fields, baseball/softball fields, multipurpose fields, tennis and basketball courts, racquetball courts, pickleball courts, outdoor fitness equipment, splash pads, and a dog park. We also have 2 Creek Fit fitness centers and 2 recreation centers — something for everyone!

Your support as a sponsor plays an essential role in enhancing the well-being, livability, and overall vibrancy of our city. Through our wide range of events, programs, and services, we strive to provide meaningful opportunities for residents of every age, ability, and interest.
Submitting a sponsorship application does not guarantee inclusion in the event. All applications will be reviewed for eligibility, and applicants will be notified upon approval. Participation is not determined by the order in which applications are received. Priority consideration will be given to Coconut Creek residents and business owners.
Sponsorship Terms & ConditionsSabal Pines Park and George S. Gerber Park will be closed from June 30, 2026 through July 1, 2026 at 12:00 PM for scheduled pesticide application on athletic fields.
For the safety of all visitors, all park facilities and amenities, including athletic fields, courts, walking paths, playgrounds, and common areas, will be inaccessible during this time.
Parks reopen July 1, 2026 at 12:00 PM (Weather permitting)

The Coconut Creek Field Conditions Hotline (FCH) is 954-545-6690. The FCH will be updated at 3:00 PM on weekdays and 11:00 AM on weekends. The FCH will cover Sabal Pines Park, George Gerber Memorial, Hosford Park, Lyons Creek and Lakeside Parks.
