Housing & Community Enhancement

The City of Coconut Creek offers a range of affordable housing and community development services to provide quality housing to low, moderate, and workforce-income households. The City also provides services to improve the character of existing neighborhoods. Funding for these programs include federal funding through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program and the HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program, state funding through the State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) Program, and local funding through the City's Affordable Housing Trust Fund.
Assistance Programs
The City of Coconut Creek offers financial assistance and grant opportunities designed to support first-time homebuyers. These programs can help reduce upfront costs, such as down payments and closing fees, making homeownership more accessible. By providing this support, the City aims to promote housing stability and encourage long-term investment in the community.
