The Coconut Creek Vision 2030 Strategic Plan Lays the Foundation and Sets the Trajectory for the City.
Over the years, the Coconut Creek City Commission, together with staff and members of the Coconut Creek community, laid the foundation of our quaint community. In 2020, it was time to develop a plan to lead Coconut Creek through the next ten years into 2030. Many of our community influencers joined the City and dashed forward to establish Vision 2030. Can you imagine Coconut Creek in 2030? Well, many of our residents and community members thought about it and participated in community meetings and took community surveys to help the City develop a roadmap to our future - one with lasting quality of life and still in tune with sustainable priorities.
The Vision 2030 process included developing new vision and mission statements, updated values, and five key areas of focus with strategic goals. To harmonize the full scope, this comprehensive document is aligned with the City's planning and budget processes, and guides the implementation of the City’s full range of services including police, fire rescue, streets, water, transportation, planning, economic development, parks and recreation, and more.
