The City of Coconut Creek has a long-standing commitment to open government, including compliance with County-mandated Ordinance No. 2011-19, which created a Code of Ethics for Municipal Elected Officials effective January 2, 2012.

On December 8, 2011, the City adopted an ordinance, requiring all persons who are lobbyists to register with the City Clerk’s Office. One registration form is required for each principal and each subject/project. An annual registration fee of $50.00 is required and covers the period from October 1 through September 30 of each year.
