In an emergency dial 9-1-1
- Calling 9-1-1 should only be for true emergencies
- An emergency is any situation that requires immediate assistance from fire, law enforcement, and EMS
- A non-emergency call request for service from fire, law enforcement, and EMS is any situation that is not life threatening
- Using the non-emergency number 954-346-4400 ensures 9-1-1 lines are available for emergency calls
