Coconut Creek officially launched two new social media pages dedicated solely to Parks & Recreation on Facebook and Instagram. With so many events and programs happening year-round, the department needed its own space to manage content separately from City-wide initiatives. We also learned that posting too frequently on a single account can reduce engagement, so this change will help ensure our messaging reaches more residents effectively.

Over the next few weeks, the City’s main Facebook and Instagram pages will gradually direct followers to the new Parks & Recreation accounts, allowing our primary City pages to focus on major projects, meetings, and overall City updates.
