Officer Rodriguez and K9 Arlo arresting a pair of burglars is the basis for this Coconut Creek Police Department Arrest Alert. The burglars, Beau Gordon, age 26, of Coconut Creek, and Elijah Cox, age 21, of Boca Raton, set off an alarm at the old Bru’s Room in North Creek at 2:17 a.m. on September 15th. It was clear to Officer Rodriguez the two men were up to no good. They were both near a ladder trying to gain access to the roof. The threat of a tussle with K9 Arlo convinced them to surrender. Officer Rodriguez charged both with business burglary. Gordon picked up additional charges for spray painting part of the building and having drugs in his satchel. Both were taken to the Broward County Jail.
