Please be advised that the Lyons Road Pedestrian Lighting Project, spanning from south of the Sawgrass Expressway to just north of Atlantic Boulevard, is getting underway and may impact travel along Lyons Road, particularly in the southbound lanes. Periodic shoulder and lane closures are expected to begin next week, (June 1st) and continue at various times through the end of the year. This safety overhaul features energy-efficient LED poles to improve visibility for pedestrians and cyclists.  We encourage motorists to plan ahead, use caution in work zones, and allow for additional travel time.
