A man recently filed a report after the bad guys fleeced him out of a large amount of his hard-earned money. He got a fake email alert that his bank account was compromised, then a scammer pretending to be an employee from his bank called him on the phone. The "employee" convinced him to transfer money out of his account and into another. While you can sign up for alert emails and text messages from your bank, remember that no one from your bank will ever call you for any reason. If you get a similar phone call, just hang up.
