Annual Fishing Derby 2026
- Participants will compete for prizes while enjoying fishing at Sabal Pines Park’s lake
- Awards will be presented for the weirdest, heaviest, and most caught
- Participants are responsible for providing their own fishing gear and bait
- Catch and release
- All ages welcome
- Participants aged 17 and younger must be accompanied by a parent/guardian
- Saturday, March 7th
- 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
- $15 for Coconut Creek residents; $20 for non-residents
- To qualify as a Coconut Creek resident, the following must be provided:
- State-issued driver’s license or valid passport for identification
- And one of the following as proof of Coconut Creek residency: valid voter’s registration card, water bill, cable bill, or electric bill
- Bills cannot be more than two months older than the date on which they are submitted as proof of residency
- Credit card payment only
- To qualify as a Coconut Creek resident, the following must be provided:
- Held at Sabal Pines Park, 5005 NW 39th Avenue
- Check-in at the Pine pavilion

- Registration is ongoing until full; space is limited to 20 participants
- Register online at www.CoconutCreek.gov/Webtrac or by walk-in at the Recreation Complex or at the Community Center, 1100 Lyons Road
- You must have a WebTrac account prior to registering online

- In order that a participant’s age and legal guardianship are visually verified, a copy of their birth certificate may be required to be brought to either walk-in location
