2026 Creek Debate Club

Creek Debate Club

Participants will engage in structured, team-based debates on fun and thought-provoking topics while practicing public speaking, critical thinking, and respectful communication in an engaging, supportive environment.

Program Details

  • Ages 14 to 17 (age as of August 31, 2026)
  • Team-based debates on engaging topics
  • Practice public speaking, critical thinking, and respectful communication

Schedule

Dates: Thursdays, April 9th through April 30th

Teen Debate Session

Time: 6:15 PM – 7:15 PM

Fees

  • $15 for Coconut Creek residents
  • $20 for non-residents

Resident Verification Requirements

To qualify as a Coconut Creek resident, provide:

  • State-issued driver’s license or valid passport
  • One of the following (dated within the last two months):
    • Valid voter registration card
    • Water bill
    • Cable bill
    • Electric bill

  • Registration is ongoing until full; space is limited to 24 participants

  • A copy of the participant’s birth certificate may be required for age and legal guardianship verification at walk-in locations
