The Utilities Division is committed to protecting, maintaining, and continuously improving the City's water, wastewater, and reclaimed water systems. Our mission is to provide residents with dependable, efficient, and courteous service while ensuring the highest standards of public health and environmental protection.

We follow best practices established by the American Water Works Association (AWWA) and operate in full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Our dedicated team is responsible for:

  • Testing, maintaining, repairing, and installing water and wastewater infrastructure
  • Locating underground utilities and exercising valves
  • Inspecting, installing, and replacing water meters
  • Flushing fire hydrants and maintaining pump stations
  • Managing backflow prevention programs
  • Cleaning and inspecting sanitary sewer lines, including video inspections
  • Monitoring systems to detect and address inflow and infiltration issues
  • Maintaining access structures and ensuring efficient system operation

Through proactive maintenance and reliable service, the Utilities Division helps ensure the safety, sustainability, and resilience of our city’s essential water systems.
