Arbor Day Free Tree Giveaway

Each spring, the City of Coconut Creek celebrates Arbor Day which is observed nationally on the last Friday in April. Our major event is our annual tree giveaway and takes place every year on the Saturday following Arbor Day.

Celebrating Over 25 Years of Growing a Greener Community

Join the City of Coconut Creek as we celebrate the 26th annual Arbor Day Free Tree Giveaway! This beloved community event continues our commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship by offering residents the opportunity to take home a FREE tree to plant on their property.

Choose from a selection of Florida-friendly, native, and flowering trees
Expert tips on tree planting and care from local horticulture specialists
Educational resources on water conservation and eco-friendly landscaping
Giveaways, kids’ activities, and more!


This event is open to Coconut Creek residents only. Proof of residency is required. Trees are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
