The City of Coconut Creek is committed to Recycling Right. Market conditions recently changed for recycled materials worldwide and the City was experiencing an unacceptable level of contamination in single stream materials. This forced the City to suspend single family recycling curb-side pick up. Recognizing the public's desire to recycle, we have opened two Recycling Drop-off Centers. The South Drop-Off Center is just east of City Hall, and the North Drop-Off Center is located at Winston Park Nature Center both of which are available to residents and businesses. This webpage is designed to showcase those that are making a great effort to recycle and inspire all of us to do better.

Recycling is Part of a Thriving Community

Coconut Creek is tracking the use of the Drop-Off Center, including the number of participants and the type and volume of material. Participation is steadily increasing and with the opening of our second Drop-Off Center at Winston Park Nature Center, we anticipate an increase in participation and materials recovered.

We are so proud with the response and engagement we receive for our Recycling Drop-Off Centers, and we look forward to another successful year. Please help us by spreading the word and mobilizing your community, family, and friends. Let's keep it up, Coconut Creek family!
