Through this program, dedicated road patrol officers conduct proactive security checks at participating shopping plazas.

Note: Opting out of this option does not preclude your business doors from being checked. You just won’t receive an alert email. Submitting this request does not remove your responsibility as a business owner/manager from making every attempt to protect your business during closing hours. This program is another way we, at the Coconut Creek Police Department, can better serve our local business partners.

Plaza Check Program

Program Details

  • Regular Patrols: Officers physically inspect business doors and exteriors for potential security concerns throughout the night.
  • Prompt Notification: In the event of an unlocked door or suspicious activity, you will receive an immediate phone call from an officer.
  • Automated Confirmation: For secured businesses, an automated email confirms the successful completion of the check.
  • Flexible Communication: Choose to receive email notifications between 12:00 AM and 7:00 AM or opt out at your convenience.
