Sgt. Joseph Jahrsdoerfer

We’d like you to meet Sergeant Joseph Jahrsdoerfer, or “J.J.” as he’s known here at the Coconut Creek Police Department. It is our pleasure to feature him as part of our Blue Honor Series. He was born in New York. His family moved to South Florida when he was a kid. He’s a graduate of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. He relished the dedication and service to the community which came with earning his status as an Eagle Scout and felt he could continue that commitment to service as a police officer. Now, after nearly two decades of devotion to the citizens of Coconut Creek, he holds the rank of Sergeant. He's also the Executive Officer of our SWAT Team. He’s committed to leading by example, frequently taking time to share his knowledge of great customer service and officer safety to younger officers. We thank J.J. for the important role he plays on our team.
