The Coconut Creek Virtual Bench Memorial is a space dedicated to remembering and honoring the lives of cherished residents. We are transitioning to a new virtual memorial program from the current traditional tree and bench program to better accommodate the evolving needs of our community and ensure long-term sustainability. While trees and benches offer a beautiful and lasting tribute, they come with ongoing maintenance challenges, limited space, and environmental impacts. This transition introduces an affordable virtual memorial option for $25, allowing individuals to honor and celebrate loved ones anytime, anywhere.

The virtual memorial program allows for a more inclusive and accessible way to honor loved ones. It enables us to preserve memories in a digital format that can be easily shared and visited from anywhere. This shift also supports our commitment to environmental stewardship and allows for more equitable opportunities for remembrance, regardless of location or physical limitations.

In addition to the virtual tribute, the program will maintain three physical memorial locations — trees and benches at Donaldson Park, Sabal Pines Park, and City Hall — offering serene spaces for reflection and remembrance.

The official registration process is coming soon. The online application will include a photo, your loved one's years in life, and a loving message.
