Senior Theater Presents

  • Learn aspects of theater through techniques and materials, including character breakdown, direction, vocal projection, stage presence, basic motor skills, communication skills and teamwork
    • Program concludes with one live performance of the following shows
      • Backfire
      • Let’s Make a Deal
      • Blue Sky with Approaching Storm
      • Shelly Berman’s “No Soap!”
    • Each participant will be assigned a part in the program and provided a practice script
    • Participants are responsible for their costumes and props
  • Ages 55 and older
  • Mondays, March 23rd through May 4th
    • Live performance will be on May 4th
    • No class on April 6th
    • No auditions required
  • 9:30 am to 11:00 am
  • $35 for Coconut Creek residents; $45 for non-residents
    • To qualify as a Coconut Creek resident, the following must be provided:
      • State-issued driver’s license or valid passport for identification
      • And one of the following as proof of Coconut Creek residency: valid voter’s registration card, water bill, cable bill, or electric bill
        • Bills cannot be more than two months older than the date on which they are submitted as proof of residency
          • Credit card payment only
  • Held at the Recreation Complex, 4455 Sol Press Boulevard

    • Registration is ongoing until full; space is limited to 15 participants
