Veterans Park

Built with the assistance of the American Legion Post 170 and Minto Builders of Florida to honor those who fought to defend the freedoms that we enjoy today. The park has walkways for easy access and an entrance leading from the adjacent Township Plaza Shopping Center. This is the site of the annual Memorial Day Ceremony and Veteran's Day Ceremony.

    • Dignitaries, guest speakers, Coconut Creek Police Department Honor Guard, and the Monarch High Jr. R.O.T.C.

  • The City proudly supports Stars for Our Troops—donate worn U.S. flags (3x5 ft, made in the USA, embroidered stars) to be repurposed in honor of veterans.
    • Drop off at the ceremony or anytime at City Hall (4800 W. Copans Rd).
  • Held at Veterans Park, 3550 Lyons Road
    • In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held at the Recreation Complex, 4455 Sol Press Boulevard
